How to Train Your Human

My humans get up too early, and I call to them with my snugly warm cuteness, 'stay in bed...'  so comfy I stare at them with my big eyes, lay on them, and sigh deeply when they leave. What's that sound? They're home! They're home!

Today I was allowed to frolic in my yard off leash, unattended, unchaperoned, for several minutes. This was all I needed! I raced into the house and plopped on the couch while a frantic search for me was mounted. <looks innocent> I was here the whole time... I swear...

This weekend was the fifth annual Exotics Expo at Turquoise Animal Hospital ! There were so many cool animals that looked delicious.  Tarantula Pandora Treva Boo A creep of tortoises, flight of cockatoos, pandemonium of parrots, business of ferrets, a fire-belly toad, a cockatiel, a hedgehog, lounge of geckos, cluster of tarantulas, a rat, a guinea pig, a hamster, a bury of rabbits, a garter snake, and probably more! Lounge lizards There were kids crafts, chair massages , snacks, music, and you could be a mermaid or surfing dog.  Bulldog mermaid! We enjoyed spending the day with Project Wildlife , Socal Parrot Rescue , Parrot Education and Adoption Center , Wee Companions , the House Rabbit Society , unique animals, and the people who care for them. Ever since my humans brought home the Blanket of Doom, I'm obsessed. I would rather lay on it than do most things on earth. Then, a second one appeared! Where do they come from? They must be made of synthetic chinchilla! Then, I discovered the zebra pants. Although not as soft, they are squishy, and being filled with human makes them warm. I plunked right down. My mom likely thought she had things to do, but I can be pretty persuasive. Stay.

I looked out from my stroller at my brother Nacho lagging behind. We still had to walk back home, and my humans were wondering if he would be happy joining me. He jumped right in!  Our golden years Once we untangled our body parts, we both peered out and relaxed while our young siblings panted along.  Dogs in Basket!  

Dressed in purple tulle, I stepped into the warm afternoon sun.  This is beats napping My magical dog nose picked up the scent of treats! Nacho, Ella, Cooper, Buddha, Lizzie Wiggles, Ozzy, Foxy Lady, Zero, Glo, and I scoured the lawn for cookies.  Ella is always on duty Some of my canine friends were distracted but Nacho and I didn't leave a single morsel uneaten. SO my humans got to see the baby jaguar for a couple seconds. They're a little obsessed since they saw the video of him frolicking after his mama dropped him like a sack of potatoes. Endangered    While searching for the kid, they saw the Bornean Sun Bear channeling Shyla-realness.    Pothound

I had breakfast already, but my humans left the house without eating OR having coffee. Curiouser and curiouser... Where could we be headed? I counted four other dogs at brunch today at  Heat Bar and Kitchen .  Are you going to eat that? A Frenchie spooked and ran across the patio dragging a chair! People scrambled to grab him before he reached the busy street, and he was caught by our next table neighbor.     This place rocks We knew they were dog friendly, but didn't know I had my own menu! The smells, the sunshine, going to the bathroom in strange places...I get really into my walks. I was so focused today that my brother Bacchus pooped on my head. I still didn't notice, even when my humans freaked out and tried to clean me. Blissfully happy... even when covered in feces

Is anything cuter than a meerkat? Their children! The meerkats at the  San Diego Zoo  had babies.  Ermigerd Next visit, my humans will be on the lookout for the jaguar cub. Grrrrr

What is this delicious smelling animal? She skulks around my yard when I'm inside, leaving clues. So far she has not lost any of her hitchhiking babies for me to find.  As I was hopping in the car with my people, she finished drinking my water and popped up to my driveway! When is mealtime?
